Review: Alternatives to surgery found at a Corona Chiropractor! This is the story of Sue McNeilly and how she found back pain relief with Chiropractic :
I developed pain in my neck and shoulders within hours. Following that my arm had a numbness sensation. I went to my physician where I had received pain medication. I followed up with... my orthopedic physician. Each one prescribed narcotics: muscle relaxers and anti-spasm medication. I eventually ended up taking Vicodin for two months, every 5 hours due to the pain.
My orthopedic surgeon also ordered me through two cycles of physical therapy, which did not help. They then realized there was something going on in my spine. No MRI was ordered... unless I was to have surgery. I demanded the MRI. The results were conclusive of two cervical herniated discs, along with some narrowing at one level.
I was never given an option to go to a chiropractor, doing my own research I found that traction was an option. My friend referred me to Corona Physical Medicine... and I agreed to go the next morning. Corona Physical Medicine was so professional and told me I did not need surgery and they could "fix" me. I was so amazed that just in four treatments my pain was gone and I was off the vicodin completely. In six treatments the numbness subsided also. The treatments consisted of wobble chair exercises, vibration machines, traction, adjustments, wall exercises, heat and cold therapy and drinking Kangen water daily.
I can't say enough about how gratefull I am for Corona Physical Medicine and their treatments. I think of how close I came to having surgery that would have included fusion in my spine and how the medical field felt that was my only option. I feel wonderful now with the pain.
